Boys’ & Girls Club hears from assemblyman

The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clara Valley - Harvard site recently welcomed State Assemblyman Das Williams. The assemblyman spoke to teen club members about his road to the State Assembly and his educational path as well.

Boys & Girls Club members then participated in a Q & A session with Assemblyman Williams that lasted for an hour. “He was a lively speaker; he entertained and educated the kids at the same time,” said Club Teen Coordinator Jose Saucedo. 

The Boys & Girls Club welcomed Williams as part of its Speaker of the Week program. They continue to invite guest speakers throughout the school year.
