SPHS Student Eric Lemus going to HOBY

Lions Club members Helen and Mike Lang recently presented a check to Santa Paula High School student Eric Lemus in the amount of $150 helping Lemus to attend the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership conference (HOBY). HOBY is the nation’s foremost youth leadership development organization.

The mission of HOBY is to inspire and develop the global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. Every year 9000 high school sophomores from across the United States are chosen to participate in the HOBY Seminars.
