Girls move on to CIF Round Two game today

The Lady Cardinal soccer team shut down the visiting Whittier Christian Heralds Friday, 3-1. That put Santa Paula against Arlington High today at 3:00 p.m. in another home contest. 

The Cards' three goals came off the feet of Yazmin Velazquez, Guadalupe Magana and Taylor Alvarado.  Showing the intensity of the Santa Paula offense, the Whittier goalkeeper had 18 saves. This win put the Lady Cardinal overall record at 13-4-3 for the year.

Today’s game is against the Arlington Lions out of Riverside. The Lions are 9-8-7 for the year.
