Free Tax Assistance at Senior Center

It’s that time of year again, and trained volunteers are on hand at the Santa Paula Senior Center to help low income individuals and persons age 60+ prepare their income tax returns.

Volunteers will be available Mondays from 9:30- 3:30 and Wednesdays 12:00-3:30 beginning February 1st and continuing through April 11th (except for February 20, when the Center will be closed for Presidents Day). All returns will be filed electronically. (NO PAPER)

Please bring the following: A copy of your 2010 tax return; taxpayer’s proof of identity; all forms (W-2, 1098, and 1099); information for other income; identification number for Child Care Provider; information for deductions/credits; Social Security and/or ITIN cards for you, your spouse, and dependents. For direct deposit of refunds, bring proof of account (e.g. a voided check).

No appointments necessary. For information, call the Senior Center at 933-4226 ext 356 or 933-9748. The Center is located at 530 W. Main Street.
