Jeremy Welch receives Achievement Scholarship

Jeremy Welch

Santa Paula resident Jeremy S. Welch of Guiberson is the recipient of a $6,000 Wilmington College Academic Achievement Scholarship. Welch,  a 2011 graduate of Santa Paula High School, plans to major in animal science.

His main activities/honors while attending high school included: varsity football (captain) and FFA. Welch is the son of Santa Paula residents Shelly McCoy and Brian Welch.

Other types of scholarships and award amounts are available from Wilmington College, a career-oriented liberal arts institution affiliated with the Society of Friends (Quakers). It is located in southwestern Ohio, approximately one hour from Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. The Blue Ash branch campus serves a large number of non-traditional students.
