Santa Paula girl meets Justin Bieber through Make-A-Wish Foundation

Monroe Medrano, 5 years old, diagnosed with A.L.L. Leukemia in October of last year.
She went through months of weekly chemotherapy and other treatments. To make things worse, Monroe developed a bacteria that settled in her left thigh. In order to stop the bacteria from spreading she had to months of treatment for this as well. She maintained a positive attitude throughout all this. Her one wish was to meet the teen sensation Justin Bieber.
A presentation dinner took place at the Santa Paula McDonalds on July 19, her favorite place to eat. With the help of Make-A-Wish and member Lupe Castro, on July 20 of this year Monroe rode in a limo with her family to the Paso Robles State Fair. Once arriving at the hotel, she found her room filled with balloons, toys, stuffed animals and snacks. The next day the limo took her to the fair where she hung out in Bieber’s trailer, saw the concert and met the singer. He invited Monroe to sit next to him and they talked for about 45 minutes. He also gave her an autographed guitar.
