Joe Camacho picks university in Kansas

Santa Paul High School senior Joe Camacho has committed to play football for Mid America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas.
He chose Mid America over New Mexico Highlands and Chadron State in Nebraska. Camacho, a linebacker, was a varsity starter all four years at Santa Paula.
He was picked as Frontier League Defensive MVP twice in 2008 and 2009. He was named Ventura County Small Schools Linebacker of the year in 2009 and First Team All-CIF in 2008 and 2009.
He also won the CIF Inland Division 215 pound wrestling championship in both 2008 and 2009.
