Golf team coaches extend thanks

The Santa Paula High School Golf Team hosted the final round of the 2008 Frontier League Tournament play this week. All schools came to play the Mountain View Golf Course (Par 70) and were graciously hosted to an end-of-season BBQ provided by the Santa Paula High School Golf Team. This is the second consecutive year that the Cardinals have hosted such an event believing that good sportsmanship is an integral part of competition.The Cardinals wish to extend gratitude to Mr. Ruben Segovia and El BrillanteMarket, Mr. Mike Ayerle and the Santa Paula Vons, Mr. Howard Geer andFarmer’s Insurance, The Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce, The South Mountain Ladies Golf Club, and the Pinnacle Development Corporation for their financial contributors making our season, and an event such as this, a popular success.Santa Paula’s Golf Program also wishes to extend its warmest appreciation toThe Mountain View Golf Course, particularly its owners Mr. Tony Pawlak andSteve Haley and all the hospitable employees, for their generosity and efforts in preparing the course in tip-top condition.
