Sarah cites her parents as the most influential people in her high school years. “Both have been great role models, friends, and counselors to me.... I always knew I had someone to turn to for advice, sympathy, and help. Without them I would not have become the person I am today.”Sarah’s advice to incoming freshmen is to enjoy their four years in high school. “Don’t worry about working because you have your whole life and the four years in high school are the only ones you are going to get. Get involved and keep your grades up, because it is these grades that determine what college you attend.”
