8-Under All-Star girls take second in Moorpark tournament

The Santa Paula 8-Under All Star softball team took second place in a Moorpark Tournament this past weekend. The Santa Paula girls started out by beating Moorpark 7-3. They next won over San Dieguito 6-2. The SP girls beat Mid Valley 3-2 and in the semi-final got past La Canada 4-3. They lost a long final rematch with San Dieguito 10-9. The Manager is Manuel Ruiz. Coaches are Raymond Ramos and Greg Johnson. Team Moms are Arleen Ruiz and Christy Mendoza.
