The Ventura County Museum of History & Art is holding an Open House for prospective volunteers from throughout Ventura County, on Monday, February 6, 2006 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Meet Museum staff, current volunteers and docents to learn more about volunteer opportunities. Founded in 1913, the Museum’s programs reach more than 55,000 people and 10,000 schoolchildren each year.The first of five required volunteer training classes begins on Saturday, March 11 at the Ventura County Museum of History & Art, 100 E. Main Street, in downtown Ventura.
