Malibu sent packing by Cardinal varsity

The Cardinal varsity boys’ soccer team outran and outscored the visiting Malibu Sharks last week 3-0. Santa Paula took control of the field early on, keeping the ball mostly on the Malibu side of the field.The Cards scored early in the first period on a kick by Ernie Ayala. Later in the period goal number two came off the foot of Dela Medina. Rene Magana made the final point in the second period.The boys play at Santa Clara Thursday at 3:15 p.m. The next varsity home match will be Tuesday, January 31 at 5:15 p.m.
