The much-needed improvement to the Sycamore Railroad Grade crossing on State Route (SR) 126 just south of the City of Fillmore was scheduled to begin November 1.

The much-needed improvement to the Sycamore Railroad Grade crossing on State Route (SR) 126 just south of the City of Fillmore was scheduled to begin November 1. The project is expected to last three weeks, and is scheduled to end by Thanksgiving Day, November 24. Improvements to the pavement will also be made to create a better drive.

One traffic lane will be closed during the duration of the project, one direction at a time. The first lane to be closed will be on the eastbound side of SR 126 near the vicinity of the project, followed by a lane closure on the westbound side. All traffic lanes are scheduled to be open along the project area by Thanksgiving Day.
