Santa Paula High School to offer pre-PSAT test to freshman and sophomore students

Santa Paula News
Published:  February 09, 2000

On Wednesday, March 1, freshmen and sophomores at Santa Paula High School will be given the opportunity to take a practice PSAT test. The PSAT is the practice test for the SAT, the admissions test that is used by four-year colleges and universities to determine eligibility for admission.

Normally juniors and some sophomores have the opportunity to take this test in October. However, with an agreement between Santa Paula High School and University of California at Santa Barbara, freshman and sophomore students will have another opportunity to experience the test and to improve their scores on both the PSAT and the SAT.

If your son or daughter is a freshman or sophomore and wishes to attend college after high school, please have him or her sign up to take this test with Christine Bruggman, counselor, before February 22.
