As part of its 10th season celebration, the New West Symphony is offering classical music fans a premium for their support.

As part of its 10th season celebration, the New West Symphony is offering classical music fans a premium for their support. Donors of $100 or more will receive a commemorative limited edition CD, “The Best of the New West Symphony.”The CD includes Wagner’s Overture to Die Meistersinger, the first movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, Tchaikovsky’s Romeo & Juliet Fantasy Overture, Barber’s Adagio for Strings and Holst’s The Planets (Mars, Mercury and Jupiter). With an emphasis on bringing classical music to all ages, the Symphony has reached more than 120,000 people, including 25,000 children annually, since its founding in 1995.“The Symphony now supplies the only music education available in 16 out of 18 elementary school districts in this county, filling a musical void in our education system,” says Diana Dunbar. “By donating to the New West Symphony, you are helping us to inspire musical appreciation in Ventura County youth.”
