The County Elections Division will be posting election night results periodically on the Internet at: www.ventura.org/election/elecount.htm. A copy of the Semi-Official Election Summary will be posted at City Hall on Wednesday morning. The City of Santa Paula is pleased to report that the City Hall Council Chambers, 970 Ventura Street, Santa Paula, will be open at 8:00 p.m. on Election Night, Tuesday, November 2, 2004.
The City of Santa Paula is pleased to report that the City Hall Council Chambers, 970 Ventura Street, Santa Paula, will be open at 8:00 p.m. on Election Night, Tuesday, November 2, 2004. Light refreshments will be served. The public is invited to participate in a potluck and bring nonalcoholic beverages or snacks to share. Everyone is encouraged to attend the open house for any or all of the evening. The City’s Government Access Cable Channel 10 will broadcast a special program live from the Council Chambers, hosted by Santa Paula journalist Peggy Kelly, beginning at 9:00 PMThe polls close at 8:00 p.m. It is anticipated that the absentee ballot results will be available shortly thereafter. Polling place officials will finish their processing and will deliver their ballot boxes to City Hall within an hour. The ballot boxes will then be picked up and transported by Deputy Sheriffs to the Central Counting Place in the Elections Division at the County of Ventura.Election totals for City Council, City Clerk, City Treasurer, Elementary School District, and High School District candidates, and Measures J, K, and Measure L will be posted in the Council Chambers and broadcast over Channel 10. City Hall will remain open until all precincts have been reported.
