VFW donates funds to “The Spirit of Santa Paula”

Mercer Prieto Post 2043 applied for the VFW Foundation Community Service Grant and was approved in the amount of $1,000.00!  In turn, Post 2043 donated the funds to “The Spirit of Santa Paula” organization which feeds the poor, the hungry, the elderly and the challenged people in our community every Wednesday afternoon with a very nice hot meal.  Pictured left to right: Bill Fowlie, Assistant Manager, Ms. Kay Wilson Bolton, Program Coordinator, Post Member Bill Florio, Post Commander Jerry Olivas and Post Quartermaster Rey Frutos.
