Janice (Jan) Heflin, after a long struggle with cancer, passed away on February 13, 2016. She was born in Minneapolis MN on Novmber 9, 1937. Daughter of Cyril and Alice Page. She moved with her family to California at age 17. She graduated from Arcadia High School.

She married Don Heflin in 1962. They have shared a full and happy marriage, raising two sons. Jan proved her strength on resolve in living an active life while hampered by virtual blindness. Her loss of vision resulted in the end of her nursing career just short of graduation from the Ventura College Registered Nursing Program. =

She is survived by her husband Don Heflin, son Gary Heflin and his children, Rachel, Crystal, Jacob, Felicia, Michelle, and Monique; And son Glen Heflin and his wife Claudia, daughter Brooke, stepdaughters Heather and Summer. She also leaves four great grandchildren. She is survived by siblings Duane, Bob, Mark, and Penny and other family members. She was a warm and loving friend to many people, and will be greatly missed by all.
