Paul Vera Jr. 

Paul Vera Jr.[51] died on October 16, 2015 in Santa Paula, CA.

He was born to Paul Vera Sr and Margret Hernandez in Los Angeles, CA on October 31, 1963.

He is survived by his loving wife Annette Herron Vera of 30 years and his sons Paul Vera III, Angel Paul Vera, Johnny Richard Vera an 

Michael Lee Vera, His grandchildren Jesse, Katrina and Henry Vera and Kinsley Rae Vera. His siblings Mary “Flaca” Mora (Chino), Diane Ramirez (Alex), Elizar “Popeye” Hernandez (Dorothy), Raquel Lopez (Joe), Lisa Molina (Carlos) and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Paul Vera Sr & Margret Hernandez, grandson Paul Vera IV, paternal grandmother Jessie Reyes Vera, maternal grandparents Manuela and Robert Diaz, father in law Kenneth Herron Sr. and a man’s best friend Jodie Marie.

 Paul was and still is admired by people from all walks of life,

for being a good father, a loving and devoted husband and 

for being successful and taking pride in his job with United Water conservation district (Retired after 22+ yrs)

Paul loved playing horseshoes so much that he entered and won notable tournaments such as NHPA World J-2 in 2005   

He had a love for classic cars that lead him to be deeply involved in numerous car clubs. He also enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting.

His family and friends will always remember him as being a man of his word, an honorable man, who took great pride in everything he did.

Visitation will be held from 2pm-6pm, Sunday October 25, 2015 at Church of Angels, 600 Pleasant Street, Santa Paula followed with the recitation of the rosary at 7:30pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 427 N. Oak Street, Santa Paula.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am, Monday, October 26, 2015 also at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Charles Lueras, C.R.I.C. officiating. Committal and Interment will follow at Santa Paula Cemetery.
