He was transported to Fillmore and held at the VCSO Station until deputies from Los Angeles County could pick him up.
Details of the alleged carjacking as well as Franks’ city of residence were not available.

A man suspected of carjacking a vehicle in Palmdale Wednesday evening was finally caught by Ventura County Deputies in Santa Paula after the vehicle was spotted going westbound on Highway 126 in Piru.
\Donald Franks, described only as in his early 30s, was the focus of the alleged October 14 pursuit that started with the report of a carjacking in Palmdale.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office issued an alert and a description of the vehicle, which was spotted at about 8:45 p.m. in the Piru area by a Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputy.
The deputy followed the vehicle and then tried to pull it over near Central Ave and Highway 126 in Fillmore, but the driver sped off.
Details are scarce but Franks was finally arrested on Highway 126 near the 10th Street exit about 9:15 p.m.
