The Santa Paula Unified School  District  Board adopted a uniform policy this school year for all K-5 schools in the district.

All K-5 students now wear school uniforms to promote a safe, high quality school environment in which the students feel a sense of school pride and can focus on learning.  On August 10th, the members of Catalyst Church partnered with Grace Thille School to provide free school uniforms for more than 25 students who needed uniform assistance based on financial need.  Students and their parents arrived at Grace Thille and were warmly greeted by Pastor Jason Freehauf and members of the church community to receive their uniforms.  More than 100 uniforms were donated by the church community.  Smiles and hugs were bountiful as the children walked proudly away with their new school clothes. In addition to donating uniforms, members of Catalyst Church also painted a giant map of the United States in the courtyard of the school.  Students arrived on the first day of school eager and excited to see this new colorful addition to their school.  As the students arrive at school each morning, they enjoy hopping from state to state or challenging their friends to name the states.  It is a beautiful addition to the school playground.
