This will be the last year the Santa Paula High School FFA will be using the farm located behind the old Santa Paula Water Treatment Plant to raise animals for the Ventura County Fair. Currently 54 students have animals at the farm with the program being led by Alex Flores. Thursday evening the Santa Paula Unified School District Superintendent Alfonso Gamino and the School Board, Diana Ponce-Gomez, Christina Urias, Michelle Kolbeck, Chris Wilson and Kelsey Stewart toured the facility. The board was able to see how the animals are cared for and even met students that were on hand tending to their animal.
