Guadalupe V. Quintanilla 

Guadalupe V. Quintanilla beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on July 3, 2014 at home after a brief illness surrounded by his family. Lupe was a long time resident of Santa Paula, California.

Lupe was born in Texas on June 30, 1933 and raised by Marcos and   Eustaquia Quintanilla.  At the age of 14 Lupe left Texas for California and settled in Saticoy working various jobs and eventually moved to Santa Paula in 1957. Lupe was an employee of the City of Santa Paula for 17 years. In 1977 Lupe decided to create his own business by purchasing a variety of different properties in town, and managing them along with creating a handyman service.  Lupe was well known about town and was always willing to help others. In his later years, Lupe loved driving around town visiting friends at various businesses. Lupe will be dearly missed by his family and close friends. 

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Mary Quintanilla, his daughters Frances Gonzales, Kathy, Sandra and Patricia Quintanilla. Sons Raymond, Gilbert and Albert. Grandchildren Jonathan and Michael Gonzales, Illyssa Garcia, Bryce Esquivel, Katy, Nick, Marc and Brian Quintanilla. Brothers David and Alfredo Quintanilla.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 5pm to 7pm followed by a Rosary at Funeraria Del Angel Stetler, 128 S. 8th St., Santa Paula.  A Mass will be held at 10am, Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 427 N. Oak Street, Santa Paula.  Burial will follow at Santa Paula Cemetery, 380 Cemetery Rd, Santa Paula, CA, July 9, 2014,
