Johnny Allen Winkler 

Johnny Allen Winkler went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 5th, 2014 at the age of 33. Johnny was born January 2nd, 1981 to Cindy Winkler and Thomas Ming. Johnny was born and raised in Santa Paula. He graduated from Santa Paula High School in 1999. At the age of 16 he met his future wife Megan Jett. They were each other’s first and only loves. They married April 9th, 2005. They have 3 beautiful children Ryleigh, Zachariah and Brooklynn who he adored and they adored him. Johnny was a huge fan of the Raiders, Lakers and Dodgers. He enjoyed playing basketball with all of his buddies. He was an avid poker player and enjoyed playing slots as well. He loved to take his children to the river to shoot their BB guns and swim in the water hole. He always wanted to make sure his babies were happy. Johnny was always willing to do anything for anybody, anytime, anywhere. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His beautiful eyes and smile lit up a room. He loved his family more than anything in the world. Johnny is preceded in death by his sister Sara Mae Winkler, grandfather Floyd Winkler, grandfather GW Ming, great grandmother Ethel Cooper and brother in law Ramiro Segura. He is survived by his wife Megan Winkler, children Ryleigh 9, Zachariah 5 and Brooklynn 5, mother Cindy Winkler Howard, father Thomas Ming, sisters Michelle Davis and Amber Blackburn, brothers Jason Ming and Colton Blackburn, grandmothers Mary Winkler and Joy Campos, grandfather Bob Campos and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Johnny had many friends but two of them were very special, one being Shonda Marshall who was like a sister to him and his very best friend Nick (Niko) Howard. His family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers a fund has been set up for his children at Wells Fargo Bank, Johnny Winkler Family Memorial Fund #3700313814.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Chapel of the Angles, 600 E. Pleasant St. Santa Paula, CA. A Celebration of a life will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday,  June 13, 2014 at the Life Way Baptist Church, 673 E. Santa Paula St., Santa Paula, CA.
