Tony C. Ruiz
Tony C. Ruiz, 83, of Saticoy, passed away peacefully in Camarillo, Calif. on January 26, 2013 after a yearlong illness. Tony was born February 3, 1929 in Santa Paula, Calif., a resident of Saticoy, Ventura County.
Tony worked as a construction cement finisher for 35 years. He was a hardworking man all his life and enjoyed the company of many friends. He loved taking walks along the beach and going outdoors. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Tony Ruiz Sr.; mother Felicitas Duran; stepfather Daniel Duran Sr.; and brother Daniel Duran.
He was survived by daughter Susie Ruiz; sons Tony G. Ruiz and John G. Ruiz; sister Ortensia Ruiz; sister-in-law Nora Duran and family; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Stetler Mortuary, 128 S. 8th St. in Santa Paula, officiated by Deacon Al Guilin. A reception will be held following the service at Funeraria Del Angel Stetler Mortuary.
