The Santa Paula Unified School District needs a logo!
The Santa Paula Unified School District was approved by the voters of Santa Paula in November 2012 and will begin operation on July 1 of this year. The Governing Board has been busy establishing the new district and they need your help to design a district logo.
The Santa Paula Unified School District is located in the geographical center of Ventura County, situated in the rich agricultural Santa Clara River Valley. The city is surrounded by rolling hills, rugged mountain peaks, orange, lemon, and avocado groves. At one time Santa Paula was referred to as the “Citrus Capital of the World.”
The new District will operate six K-5 elementary schools, one 6-8 middle school, one comprehensive high school and a continuation high school.
The Community at large is invited to participate. Prizes for community participants include public recognition as well as other miscellaneous prizes.
Rules:
The deadline to enter is no later than Friday May 3rd, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. The contest winners will be publicly announced at the Board Meeting on May 16th.
Entries must be submitted on 8 1⁄2 x 11 size paper and it is recommended, but not necessary, that designs reflect the characteristics of the Santa Paula Community and be in color. Entries may be submitted to the Santa Paula Unified School District, c/o 201 S. Steckel Drive, Santa Paula. All entries must have the following information, clearly and legibly written, on the back: Name, Address, & Telephone Number.
