2nd Annual Miniature Golf Tournament Fun & Successful
Santa Paula High School
Published: October 23, 2009
On September 19th, the Santa Paula High School Band held their 2nd Annual Miniature Golf Tournament Fundraiser at Golf ‘N’ Stuff in Ventura. Everyone had a lot of fun and the Music Program at the High School considered it a successful fundraiser. Due to recent budget cut in the State of California, programs like the Music Program at the high school, have to supplement the minimal funds provided with fundraisers all year long in order for the programs to be successful.
Local businesses and service groups help to make the fundraiser a success either by donating prizes for the golfers or by sponsoring a “Tee Box” advertisement. A big thank you to: Soroptimist International of Santa Paula, Smokin’ Joe’s BBQ Restaurant, Tisa’s Hair Salon, Devone Design, Knights of Columbus, CP Aviation, Hayward Lumber-Santa Barbara, Café Del Sol-Jack Sears, Inc.-Santa Barbara, C. John Douglas III-Santa Barbara, Anita Pulido, Logsdon’s, Westside Family Practice-Dr. Michael Tushla, Juice Plus-Tonya Shepley, Ventura Sport Fishing, Alley Cats, and Steak & Hoagie.
On behalf of the SPHS Band Boosters and all the students who benefit from the Music Program, we thank you for your generosity and support.
