The 2009 Ventura County Fair Entry Guide is now available locally at the Santa Paula Times, 944 E. Main Street.
The 2009 Ventura County Fair Entry Guide is now available locally at the Santa Paula Times, 944 E. Main Street. This year’s fair is centered on the theme, “Purebred and Home Grown.”
The Entry Guide is divided by area of interest. Both senior (adult) and junior (youth/child) competition categories, including 4-H and FFA projects, are listed under each area of interest.
Entry categories are: 4-H and Grange; Academic Rodeo; Agriculture; Amateur Fine Arts; Fishes & Friends; Floriculture; Gem & Mineral; Hobbies, Models & Collections; Home Arts; Horse Shows; Kids, Cameras & Crops; Junior Fair Board Contests; Large Livestock; Photography; Professional Arts; Small Livestock; Uncle Leo’s Agriculture Contest; and the Youth Division.
The Ventura County Fair runs from August 5 through August 16. More information is available by calling 648-3376. The Entry Guide is also online and available for download and printing at www.venturacountyfair.org.
