Early Bird Raffle Winner

Bev Nichols (L) and CPA Bob Russell (C), watch as Aviation Museum of Santa Paula Vice President Bruce Dickenson reads the name of the Early Bird Winner of the museum’s airplane raffle Sunday at the airport. Camarillo resident and local pilot Peter Poland won the $500 prize in the Early Bird drawing for those who entered the contest early to benefit the museum.

A classic 1947 Stinson airplane, or $20,000 in cash, is the grand prize to be awarded in September. Tickets are still available at $100 each for the Grand Prize drawing. Only 1,200 tickets are being sold. For details, go to the museum’s web site at www.amszp.org.
