Edith Lois Legan
Edith Lois Legan, 81, of Bakersfield, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2008 in Bakersfield. She was born June 1, 1927 in Santa Paula.
Lois was employed as a secretary before retiring. She lived in Kern County for seven years after leaving Ventura County.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dale Legan; parents, Clyde and Mary Meadows; and sister, Lavon. She is survived by her son, Richard Legan Jr. (wife Cathy); daughter Leanne Church (husband Steve); and grandchildren, Selena, Katie, Kristen, Steven and Amy.
Family will be having a private burial. Memorial donations may be made in honor of Edith to The Samaritan House c/o Barbara Martin, 2204 Sherwood Ave., Bakersfield, CA 93304.
