The July “Hot Summer Jazz and Art” was a tremendous success.
The July “Hot Summer Jazz and Art” was a tremendous success. Sales and artist exposure exceeded everyone’s expectation. Hot Summer Jazz and Art is a free jazz concert and art exhibit in Historic Downtown Santa Paula and will happen again on August 23rd from 6 to 10 pm. Local artist are invited to participate. Booth space is free!The Santa Paula Downtown Merchants’ Association invites local artists to submit an entry for possible selection by the Artist Selection Committee. Each selected artist will be allowed a 10 by 10 foot space on the closed Main Street in front of the Mupu Grill and South Paseo. Electricity is provided. Each artist is responsible for their own set up. All work must be for sale. The booth space is free, however a 20% commission on all sales will be charged. Sales will be handled and sales tax collected by the Downtown Merchants Association. Selected artists must attend their exhibits. All work must be created by the artist.
