At the bottom of the 3rd inning the score was 9-4, with Bishop Diego ahead.
Santa Paula came back in the 4th inning with 4 runs. Veronica Garcia and Kayla Oviedo hit back to back doubles to score Kelsey Brock on with a single and Talisa Garcia with a walk. Tylynn Sliger came up with a single to score the 4th run of the inning.
At the top of the 5th with lead off hitter K. Brock on with her 2nd hit of the game, V. Garcia hit another double to the outfield. T. Sliger followed with an over the fence homerun.
In the last inning Jasmin Rodriquez hit a triple to score Janessa Pulido on with a single to right field. Anessa Guevara followed with a double to score Rodriquez.
Santa Paula had 15 hits with 12 hits to the outfield.
Rebecca Arreguin was the winning pitcher, holding Bishop Diego to no runs.

Santa Paula plays Fillmore away on Tuesday April 29th which will be a big game as Fillmore’s only loss in league is to Santa Paula. Hopefully the girls will have plenty of support out there.
