The 2008 National Day of Prayer will be observed on Thursday, May 1 at Life Way Baptist Church in Santa Paula.
The 2008 National Day of Prayer will be observed on Thursday, May 1 at Life Way Baptist Church in Santa Paula. This year’s Theme is “Prayer, America’s Strength and Shield. ” Dr. Ravi Zacharias will help lead this nation in prayer as the 2008 Honorary Chairman.
The Santa Paula event will begin at 7 pm at Life Way Baptist Church, 693 W. Santa Paula Street. Prayers will be led by local pastors and leaders. There is no admission charge and there will be special music and the community choir is invited to gather at 6 pm for rehearsal of familiar hymns of worship.
This NDOP event is sponsored by the Spirit of Santa Paula in cooperation with the National Day of Prayer Task Force.
