Shirley S. Wright
Shirley S. Wright, 70, of Santa Paula, went home to be with the Lord Friday, February 22, 2008 after a long-term illness. She was born October 16, 1937 in Missouri to Carl and Clara DeRossett. She had been a resident of Ventura County off and on for 64 years.
Shirley liked to do lots of different outdoor activities, but mostly camping and fishing at the Colorado River with her husband, Lee Wright, her mother, and her stepfather Lee Coker.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother Clara, father Carl, stepfather Lee Coker, husband Lee Wright, sister Flora, brothers Leon and Richard, and niece Tina Valerio.
Shirley is survived by her sister, Evelyn DeRossett-Valerio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Twin Pines for the care they provided Shirley.
Arrangements are under the direction of Guardian Memorial and a private remembrance for the family.
