It’s something that most people wouldn’t notice was missing until they needed it, a sad situation for those whose vehicles have been targeted by burglars that steal the registration or insurance cards, or even both.

The action of concerned neighbors who noticed suspicious activity and reported it to police led to the arrest of a man on suspicion of car burglary, his second arrest in less than months, according to a Santa Paula Police Department spokesman.

Car burglaries have new twist with daylight crimes reported

Although car burglaries have shown a decrease they are still an ongoing problem and a problem with a new twist: thefts are starting to occur more during daylight hours, according to a Santa Paula Police Department spokesman.
