Cardinal JV fights to the end against Carpinteria

The Visiting Carpinteria JV defeated Santa Paula Friday, 48-0. The Cardinals fought to the end, never giving up, but couldn’t overcome the Carpinteria offensive drive and the Warriors’ defensive line. Santa Paula has a young team and mistakes continue to plague them as the season nears an end. (Above) Two Cardinal players take down a Carpinteria runner. The JV plays Bishop Diego in another home contest Friday at 4:30 p.m.
