Ventura County Fair now open

The 2014 Ventura County Fair, “A County Fair with Ocean Air”  opened Wednesday at 11AM after a brief opening ceremony. 

 The national anthem was sung by Lisa Zimmerman of Port Hueneme Naval Base and the ribbon was cut by the winner of the 2014 Ventura County Fair poster contest Channy Heng, 15 of Ventura. The Fair opens every day at 11 AM while the carnival midway will open at noon. Exhibits are carefully prepared and looking perfect. Agriculture, Gems and Minerals, Hobbies and Collections, Floriculture, Home Arts, Fine Arts, Photography, Livestock and Horse Shows are ready and waiting for your enjoyment.
