Reportedly, the crash victim’s wife was also riding a motorcycle and was behind him at the time the accident occurred.
The man’s motorcycle sustained major damage in the collision.

that seriously injures motorcyclist

A scenic motorcycle ride on a nice day ended when a man received serious injuries Sunday on Highway 150 apparently after losing control of his bike.
Details are still scarce about the accident that according to the Santa Paula Police occurred June 8 at about 12:45 p.m. on Highway 150/Ojai-Santa Paula Road, near Cherry Hill Road.
A northbound vehicle was attempting to make a left turn onto a residential street and as the traffic behind it slowed the unidentified man on the motorcycle, perhaps to avoid a collision, swerved onto the gravel shoulder of the road.
The rider lost control of the motorcycle, which swerved back into traffic striking the rear of an SUV. The man received a major head injury among other injuries in the collision and was treated on scene by Santa Paula Fire EMTs and ambulance personnel before being transported to the Trauma Unit at Ventura County Medical Center.
