Members of Boy Scout Troop 309 cleaned up the Hallock Drive entrance to the City of Santa Paula. Scout Master Chuck Lapointe said the scouts, from Santa Paula Church of Latter Day Saints, were looking for community service projects and Michelle Hart of America in Bloom suggested this location. He added that the boys do these kinds of projects to help advance in the boy scouts. Participating in the cleanup were Edmond Verdugo, Garrett Medley (rear) and Justin Wilson (front left) along with Lapointe and another adult leader, Guy Mansfield (right).
