WWII B-17 Bomber pilot, businessman Roger Harvey passes at 90

Roger Harvey, a larger than life figure that was a highly decorated World War II B-17 bomber pilot, devoted aviator and former Santa Paula Airport director has passed away.
Roger, a native of Santa Paula died Monday, February 4, 2013 at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara following a short illness. He was 90 years old.
Roger, a resident of Ventura, was retired from Santa Paula Insurance, a company started by his late father in 1939 and a business still held by family.
According to Marilyn Harvey, services for her husband are planned for Friday February 22 at 2 p.m. at St. Pauls Episcopal/Immanuel Lutheran Church.
