The Lady Cardinal varsity grabbed another Frontier League win this week, beating Grace Brethren, 54-26.
Leading for Santa Paula: Elissa Rico, 6 points, 4 rebounds, 1assist. Leilani Lopez, 4 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal. Ciara Ramirez, 8 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 3 steals. Lizzette Ramirez, 13 rebounds. Cyerra Vasquez, 7 points, 2 rebounds, one 3 pointer. Lauren Lazos, 6 points, 3 steals, 6 assists, 1 block, 4 free throws. Felicia Magana, 2 points, 2 rebounds, 3 steals, 4 assists. Lupita Ramirez, 5 points, 1 rebound.
Sierra Blair, 8 points, 9 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block. Kayla Stockton, 6 points, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks.
The Lady Cards played hard, led 30-9 at halftime and finished 54-26 at the end.
Lizzette Ramirez pulled down 13 rebounds. Sierra Blair brought the house down with a steal and full court conversion for two. Jessica Toledo was strong off the bench with 6 rebounds, and two big blocks. “A great overall win for the ladies, heading towards the second half of league play,” said Coach Mark Blankenship.
