Probably the best “insider” art show in Ventura County is now available for viewing at Blanchard Community Library, featuring works by members of the Santa Paula Society of the Arts.
The 2013 SPSA Membership Show is displayed on the Shively Memorial Wall of the library, located at 219 N. 8th St., through March 6.
The Santa Paula arts community is highly respected for its diverse talent, and the SPSA’s Virginia Gunderson said the latest members’ show features 23 pieces “of various subjects” created by society members, many prize-winning artists as well as noted instructors.
Blanchard Community Library is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday noon to 8 p.m.; Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The library is closed Friday, Sunday and holidays.
