Isbell basketball teams host Fremont

The Isbell boys and girls basketball teams hosted Fremont Middle School from Oxnard Tuesday.

The Isbell girls lost their game in a hard-fought match-up, 37-18. Scoring for the Lady Condors: Britney Van Buren 8 points, Mia Pulido 6, Amanda Cerda 2 and Danielle Diaz 2.

The boys fought a close, back and forth contest, but Fremont prevailed in the end defeating the Condors 41-32. Scoring for Isbell: Martin Vega 8, Edmond Mendoza 8, Nicholas Cerda 6, Jesse Villa 5, David Mendez 3 and Jaime Perez 2.

Isbell has home games next Tuesday against Las Colinas and the season ends next Thursday at Fillmore.  Playoffs begin January 31.
