Lady Cards outshoot Malibu

The Santa Paula girls’ soccer teams hosted Malibu this week. 

The Santa Paula JV won their game, 4 - 1.  Scoring for Santa Paula was Bayley Van Buren with 2 goals and Briana Rojas and Briana Aspera each with 1 goal.  

The Lady Cardinal varsity got a 4 - 3 win over the Sharks.  For Santa Paula Taylor Alvarado scored 3 goals and Yazmin Velazquez scored the game winner in the second half.  Amparo Valdovinos, Hannah Martinez, Taylor Rabago, Sugeiry Ambriz and Nikki Alvarado played well on defense.  

The girls play La Reina today at home.  The JV starts things off at 4:00 p.m.
