JV and frosh play Pacifica

The Santa Paula boys frosh team (photo above left) lost to Pacifica Tuesday evening by a score of 56 to 32. The Cardinals non-league record fell to 2 - 4. Point leaders for Santa Paula were Oliver Celedon, 10; Aldo Alvarez, 8; David Magdaleno, 7; Tony Contreras, 3; and Damian Pulido and Myles Castaneda each with 2.

The Cardinal junior varsity (above right) lost to Pacifica by a score of 41 to 40 in an extremely close and very competitive game. Carlos Garcia led the Cardinals with 13 points, Corey Peck tallied 8, Jesus Nava and Phillip Arellano each chipped in 6; David Barajas had 4, and Isaiah Lara had 1. Santa Paula will be hosting Santa Clara tonight, JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7.
