Santa Paula hosted Channel Islands on the soccer field

Santa Paula hosted Channel Islands on the soccer field this week.

The JV game ended in a 0-0 tie.  Rudy Soto had 12 saves for the Cardinals. Orlando Magana played well defensively. 

In the varsity game a Channel Islands player was fouled in the box four minutes into the game and CI converted the penalty kick for the winning point.  Jeffrey Lopez played well defensively for Santa Paula.  This match put the Card varsity at 1-1 so far this season.
