Modified Schedule for City of Santa Paula’s offices

The City of Santa Paula announces that City Departments will implement a modified Holiday schedule from December 24th to December 31st, 2012.
As a result of recent budget reductions and limited staffing resources, the City’s Planning, Building and Safety, Finance, Community Services and Public Works Departments will have modified work schedules between the week of Christmas and New Years Holiday.
City Hall’s main building (970 Ventura Street) will be open between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, December 26th, Thursday, December 27th, and Monday, December 31st.
Building and Safety, the Planning Department, and the Community Services offices located at the Community Center will be closed the week of Monday, December 24th through Monday, December 31st. (The Senior Center and Senior Nutrition Program will be open December 26 through December 28, 2012 from 9 am to 2 p.m.)
The Public Works Department will be closed Monday, December 24 and will remain open during regular business hours December 26 and 27. The Police Department and Fire stations will remain open during regular business hours from Monday, December 24th to Monday, December 31, 2012 for emergency and non-emergency public safety matters. For any Police or Fire emergency, please dial 911.
Although most City Departments will be closed and staff will not be available to answer phone calls during regular business hours, departments will maintain minimum staffing to check phone messages daily to ensure any urgent matters are attended to promptly. For any urgent matter regarding the Administration Department dial 933-4247; Planning Department dial 933-4214; Building and Safety Requests dial 933-4210; Finance Department dial 525-4478 x209; Community Services dial 933-4226; and Public Works dial 933-4212.
All City Department offices will be closed in observance of Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Holidays. The Santa Paula City Council and City staff wishes all residents the happiest of holidays and a happy new year!
