“Boots, Barns and Banjos” chosen 2013 Fair theme

The 2013 Ventura County Fair dates and theme have been announced.
The fair will run from Wednesday, July 31 until Sunday, August 11 and the theme is “Boots, Barns and Banjos”.
“The Ventura County Fair is the quintessential country Fair with horses, livestock, rodeos and entertainment,” said Barbara Quaid, Fairgrounds CEO. “We think “Boots, Barns and Banjos” is a great theme that conveys a real down-home country feeling. We hope the theme will conjure up mental images of summer days with music wafting through the air, laced with the sweet smells of the fair.”
The Fair theme will be used as a unifying element throughout the Fair exhibits, entertainment, decoration and marketing and it will inspire children’s imaginations as they enter in the 2013 Ventura County Fair Poster Contest.
