There was a storm - at least sort of - that dropped scant rain on the area and was moving on Monday after lingering in the area for several days.

The storm was more just several days of drips and drops - not enough to actually hydrate anything, but rather just enough to cause frustration to growers and gardeners. Rain and lesser versions of same started Wednesday and continued on and off through the weekend and into Monday.

According to spweather.net, the total rainfall from the storm is 1.83 inches, and adding in the latest storm, so far the year total - the rain year starts in October - is 2.65 inches of rain. As of Monday morning the National Weather Service reported 3.77 inches of rain had fallen on South Mountain.
