Museum of Ventura County Holiday Boutique

A holiday gift boutique where visitors can meet local artists and authors and buy their art and books, will be held Saturday afternoon, November 17, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Museum of Ventura County.
The art & artisan section of the boutique features silk screened shirts by John Federico; collage note cards by Tony Federico; hand painted silk scarves, accessories and handmade books by Aimee French; three dimensional figures, boats, and dioramas by Judee Hauer; succulent plants by Carlos Laverdy; oil pastel art by Rima Muna; jewelry and note cards by Dana Phillips; prints and cards by Frances Spencer; and mosaics and jewelry by Larissa Strauss. Additionally, the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts will display original art, jewelry, gifts, books and DVDs, and Best of VC Marketplace will bring local gourmet food products and gifts.
The author boutique features murder mystery novels by Joan Blacher; a biography by Chris Cryer; landscape and scenic photography books by Tim Hauf; forensic handwriting mystery novels by Sheila Lowe; and children’s books by Amada Irma Perez.

The Museum of Ventura County is located at 100 East Main Street in downtown Ventura. Hours are 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Admission to the exhibitions is $4 adults, $3 seniors, $1 children 6-17, and members and children under 6 are free. The first Sundays of every month are free general admission for the public.
